I chose Steve Hayward after seeing the 10 glowing reports for him on Which Local. I could not be more pleased with the work of him, Mike and James. They replaced
14 panels and their posts, digging up and removing the old posts and concrete, cut back all trees and shrubs in the way, put in new wood posts with short concrete supports and the new panels, in 3
days. They took away all rubble and cuttings and left everywhere tidy. An excellent job at a competitive price. Excellent all round!

I am delighted with the fencing Mr Heyward erected on 2 sides of my garden. They arrived promptly on the first day at 8.30 as promised and put in a full days work,
leaving well after 5.00pm. I was pleased to see that they were taking the trouble to get everything just right. They removed all the old fencing from the site including the subsoil spoil from
the postholes. Mr Heyward's quote was very competitive, in fact his price for concrete posts was very close to another tradesman's price for wooden ones. I would recommend his services to anyone
looking for a quality fencing job.

Steve & Mike Hayward replaced approx 140ft of fencing with new close board fencing between our garden and 3 neighbouring gardens. The new fence is of a high
standard with 5"x 4" posts, gravel board plus a top rail and capping all fixed with galvanised nails. They are clearly experienced with fencing and the advice given was good. I got 3 quotes and
theirs was the best quality spec and price. They were polite, friendly and got the job done with min of fuss, including removing all the old fencing material and pruning/removing bushes or trees as
required ...and no complaints from the neighbours!!

on by freinds and neighbours. Not the cheapest but well worth paying for. Only downside, communications a bit old fashioned.

Having found the firm initially through Which? Local - I would have absolutely NO hesitation in recommending them to everyone. They have done a superb job at a
very reasonable price - with an attention to detail that has made all the difference. I bet not many 3-bed semis have a custom-built stile at the bottom of the garden to enable easy access for
children from one garden to another! SO pleased - thank you.

Another success for Which? Local - previous recommendations made me contact Mr Hayward and I'm glad I did. An excellent job made of replacing a short fence and
pedestrian gate in a new configuration which meant I can remove the fence part easily when I need to. In other words, a non-standard challenge which was understood and implemented with minimum of
fuss. Many thanks! Highly recommended again.

Mr Hayward replaced about 40 feet of fencing, posts and kick boards. He also laid a concrete base for a new shed and removed 3 unwanted ornamental trees. His work
is of a very high standard and I would not hesitate to use him again.

Found on Which-Local ?? Removed a wooden post & 8 long panel fence & replaced with conc posts and kicker with drop in panel and lattice. Cleared line of
shrubs. Found previous conc base to wall - cleared in price. Not a race & rush outfit. Took their time, talked it through to ensure 1st post panel right to achieve finish required. 3 men x 2 full
days work plus 1 man half day to fit wing & gate. Neighbour also well happy as access required & the finished job. Will soon employ again.

I chose this trader following recomendation seen in Which-Local. I was pleased with the telephone response on initial contact and the speed at which Mr Hayward
attended to give estimate and the results of the completed work to supply and fit a new fence post. It was a small job but a job well done. I will be using his services again in the near
future.

This was the second time that I used this fencing contractor. The first time was three years ago. He, along with his son and assistant have erected close board
fencing on concrete posts, set in concrete. They worked hard, were tidy and did an excellent job, made to last. Mr Hayward, has over 30 years experience in the trade.
